Early Birthday Gifts
Yes, I’ll admit it, the materialistic aspect of my personality likes it when the birthday comes around. Gifts are swell. At the end of the day it is nice to know you are thought of.
Mary Jo and Jeff have bought me some very nice things for my upcoming birthday on the 24th. I received
- The Share the Well album by Caedmon’s Call
- A Leatherman Wave (2004 edition) - An upgrade/replacement for the Storm blue Juice CS4 they purchased for me a few years ago (and I lost!).
- A dark blue, long-sleeve t-shirt. It has a little TV on it with the words “Think outside the box.” below it.
The Caedmon’s Call album should be good. The album is partly about Indian/Hindu culture. The Wave is just handy. It has a plethora of goodies to use. The t-shirt reminds me that it has been quite some time since Jessie and I have had a TV in our bedroom. A very good idea, in my opinion. Incidentally, they picked a couple of these items right off of my wishlist. Also a good idea, in my opinion.
