- I have been talking about implementing the Getting Things Done system. There is not much progress in this area and I’m slightly disappointed about that. The lack of progress is in part due to the fact that I’ve not finished the book or actually tried to implement the system yet. Go figure. I am taking my time and taking notes in the form of an outline on my computer. It’s been said before, but the book tends to ramble on unneccesarily at times. For those who want to get to the point I think an abridged or CliffsNotes version would really help. There are a number of inspirational stories to illustrate the points. At first them seem to really cause the point to gel, but eventually they just seem like filler.
