Thoughts, Ideas, Unsolicited Advice
- Don’t be afraid to spend money on things if it makes your life more efficient, but don’t spend money on everything that could be helpful. This is difficult. There needs to be a way to distinguish/determine.
- I don’t want to get hung up in technology. If I can be inspired by new technology and come up with a low-tech solution then it may be able to benefit more people.
- I have found that I don’t mind hand washing dishes especially with good music playing. Note to self: When building your own house install a high sink so you don’t have to bend over the sink so much. Having a specific place to dry dishes is nice too.
- Attention all engaged couples: Do not skimp on kitchen tools! Register for the ones you want. Otherwise you might not feel justified in buying a nicer one and will be stuck with mediocre tools. I think a lot of people think that they will buy these themselves, but they add up quickly.
- Tell your story, your past, your heritage. We need to hear it.
- I’ve always thought it was cool when people kept a record/archive of their old web site designs. I guess this is also why archive.org is handy.
Questions
- Is satellite radio worth it? Sometimes I just can’t stand commercials.
Reviews, Likes/Dislikes
- Jessie likes cold garlic pickles
- Publix brand Ultra Dish Detergent is a lot more liquidy than name brands I’ve used in the past. Yet, it seems to lather just as well.
- I hate the first page of my Moleskin. It is extremely irregular when compared to the other pages. Probably a necessity based on the binding process, but annoying nonetheless.
- Saw a handy USB 2.0 6-foot extension cord today at Target. They also had a storage/carrying bag I would probably use for my music player.
