Redesign 2004

Well…if you haven’t noticed, Jessie and I haven’t said much here in quite a while. This is a story about a couple that got married, both started college full-time, and have not stopped moving from one thing to the next in three years!

We are both still at Kennesaw, still Biochemistry majors, and both working at the school as teacher assistants. We are both taking Organic Chemistry II (3362) with a separate lab (3362L). In fact, I really need to be studying for the rest of the month instead of working here. Yeah. Oh yes, I forgot, I have to finish my research project with Dr. Koether…make that studying, writing, and a little sleep. I may not be joking, I haven’t figured it out yet. When I resurface I will let you know how it went.

Basically, the web site has taken a back-burner location for quite some time. That is not to say that I haven’t been busy on the computer (Jessie will vouch for that). No, in fact, I recently started a redesign of our churches’ website (http://promisedlandchurch.com) and picked up another domain to tend to (http://nccmarietta.org/). Honestly though, I don’t ever feel like I get very far with anything. Maybe I just spend too much time doing different things.

You should see this site become a little more frequented by Jessie and I once I get WordPress figured out. As usual, I can’t settle for the typical format of the program. I want to tweak it to suit our interests. And, of course, this takes more time. I don’t want to launch a full blown site without having it all figured out, so I have decided to test and tweak WordPress on my local machine before I do the new site relaunch. There may be some dead links until then. Sorry.

Anyways, I am re-examining my priorities in life, trying to figure out what I spend my time doing and why those things are important to me. I am hoping to make some permanent behavior changes to make my life easier and enjoyable for everyone (including my precious wife). Hopefully I can say no to any more projects until I have this list down. Yeah.
