A Comment About Wendy
I talked to my cousin Wendy online tonight. She goes to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. Honestly, I feel closer to Wendy than I do any other family member, on Mom or Dad’s side. Somehow, I think I just relate to her more than the others. Like many of us, Wendy has had some really harsh stuff happen in her life, yet despite it all, she continues to be such a warm and inviting person. I admire her for that. Many people just clam up and become ultra cynical. Actually, sometimes I wonder how many people in my family feel the same way about her. I guess it’s just that she’s so accepting and always has an open ear rather than an open mouth.
